Arís Celebration Choir

Ireland’s Arís Celebration Choir sing an inspiring repertoire of traditional and modern classics. Under the musical direction of internationally renowned Veronica McCarron, this extraordinary all female Kilkenny Choir is committed to introducing as many people as possible to the beauty, inspiration and joy of brilliantly performed choral music. Recent performances include the Pendulum Summit, World Meeting of Families – Croke Park, WMOF Mass with Pope Francis – Phoenix Park, the opening ceremony at the World Para Swimming Allianz European Championships and the Allianz Business to Arts Awards to name but a few.

‘Music is my greatest passion. As a teacher, I’ve helped instil confidence in thousands of young women through choral music, and with support of our many friends, including Allianz, Arís Celebration Choir now brings the joy of singing to a global audience.’

Born in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, Veronica is a BMus, Dip Mus Ed Graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music in Glasgow and University of Perth, Western Australia. She has been teaching for 45 years during which time she has taught in Scotland, Australia, the United States and now Ireland. Veronica lives in Donegal and commutes to Kilkenny for rehearsals.
